28 Years of Serving Food & Fine Teas!

Founded in 1996, by Rene Dechert and Rick Marose, and later purchased in December 2010 by Military Veterans Chef Randy Sheppard and Danny Ham, The Peacock Tea Room is an Open-air, Rustic, English-style tea room located inside the Georgia Renaissance Festival fairgrounds, next to the King's Hall Stage.

We offer a full tea service which includes, but not limited to: 52 different Blended Teas, our famous Scotch Eggs, an assortment of Tea Sandwiches, Fruit,  Cheeses, Fondue, "Sheppard's" Pie, Guinness Meat Pie, Desserts and other delicious scratch made items. The menu is mostly all homemade, even down to the Devonshire style cream for your scones!

We have been featured on Destination Tea's website as one of the reviewed Tea Rooms to visit in Georgia. You can read all about it here:

The Peacock Tea Room Review.

We have also been featured on local WSB Channel 2's website and our chef was a guest on "Atlanta & Company" on channel 11! The Restaurant is only open when the Festival is in season, but our Online Store is now open to quench all those tantalizing tea cravings!

So why not drop in pick out a favorite tea and brew yourself a nice cuppa while you wait for Faire to come back around. Faire season is usually mid April to the first weekend in June, (including Memorial day), weekends only, rain or shine!
